Media Magazine Coursework

This is my magazine coursework for media.

First i was ask to make a preliminary task, this was to be a magazine to do the with school, i had to make a front cover and a contents page.

This is what i came up with.

For the next task i was asked to make a music magazine with a front cover, a contents page and a double page spread. before i started i decided to look at and deconstruct some similar magazines to find out what the usual layout and look of these magazines was, these are the ones i looked at.

I compared these magazines and found that the magazines which i looked at didnt have very much in common,one had a very bare cover with just the picture of the band and the bare minimum of text, whereas the other cover had lots of text aswell as the picture and was alot more "busy" to look at.

Bellow is what i came up with as what i found was the general layout for a music magazine.
